The Classifieds are like old-fashioned newspaper ads, aka text-only, but wrapped in the loving embrace of GIFs and links, and delivered via email. Rates are $155 for a short ad (150 characters) and $185 for a long ad (300 characters), though sometimes they go on sale.

You choose the Friday your ad runs, and you write the text. The deadline to submit an ad for Friday's newsletter is Thursday at 12pm PST, although space usually sells out before that, so it's best to buy early. You can buy first and submit ad text later. All classifieds are subject to my approval.

How can I purchase an ad in your newsletter? See the dropdown menus above for info, rates, and available dates. Then click “add to cart".” You’ll be asked for your ad text (and link) at checkout.

I’d like to advertise, but I first I need to know more about your subscribers. Click here for more demographic info.

After my ad runs, can you send me info on how many people read and clicked it? I don’t supply click-through data, but if you’d like to track clicks you can create a free bit.ly account.

I don’t have my ad text written yet. Can I still purchase ad space? Yes, just check the box in the checkout form that indicates you’ll be emailing the ad text and URL later. It’s your responsibility to get that info in to Mercedes (assistant@ladyswagger.com) before Thursday on the week your ad is set to run.

I’d like to buy out the entire classified ad section. Do you do that? Sometimes! Email Mercedes (assistant@ladyswagger.com) with your request.

Do you do partnerships or ad swaps? Rarely. Send the details of your request to Mercedes (assistant@ladyswagger.com).
